You can now apply for membership and submit payment via our simple and quick on-line member management system. Although members are encouraged to use the online payment system, BCAEM will accept a cheque for membership fees. If paying by cheque please register (or renew) through the online system and chose "cheque as your method of payment. Once you have completed the online registration send your cheque to the following address: BCAEM Treasurer Box 732 Revelstoke, BC V0E 2S0 MEMBERSHIP CLASSES AND FEE STRUCTURE As per the BCAEM Membership Policy, the Association has two active classes of membership: regular member and a non-voting student member. Both classes of membership provide access to the same resources, the main difference being that regular members can vote while student members cannot vote. | Class | 2010 Annual Dues | 2011 Annual Dues | | Regular Member | $25 | $50 | | Student Member | $5 | $25 | Membership Year The membership year coincides with the calendar year from January 1 to December 31. Membership dues are applied to the current year regarless of when during the year they were paid. They are not prorated for a portion of the year. December Grace Period New members signing up in December will pay the following year's dues and have their fees applied to the following year. For example, a new member signing up on Decemember 3, 2010 will pay the 2011 Annual Dues of $50 and receive membership for December 3, 2010 through to December 31, 2011. They will not be charged for the December 3, 2010 to December 31, 2010 period. |
